Okinawa Sunday Service and Sea

We began our Sunday with a short walk to Kadena Chapel 3 where we thoroughly enjoyed worshipping God in a lovely, Spirit-filled Gospel service. The pastor’s message reminded us all that Jesus is our source of wisdom, our sanctification, our righteousness and our redemption. “Amen” we all said!

Once we met back up with our family, had lunch and worked with the kids on make-up work, we headed to Seaglass Beach to pick up trash and enjoy the Pacific Ocean. It was a lovely day, and we found lots of trash, seaglass and other ocean treasures.

We wrapped up the day with dinner, reading, more schoolwork for some and painting fingernails and toenails for our upcoming Disney trip for the girls. It’s been really great to see all the cousins connect so quickly and enjoyably after not having seen one another for a year and a half.

Benaiah just transitioned today from Nonnie to Grandma. We are missing his sweet self so much, but we know he’s in good hands and having good grandparent time.
