Kyoto Day Trip

We enjoyed a day trip to Kyoto, which was about an hour train ride from Osaka. Kyoto is rich in Japanese culture and tradition. We visited the Thousand Torii Gates shrine, enjoyed lunch at a small cafe, visited small shops and saw many traditionally dressed people. Later in the afternoon, we headed to a samurai sword store where the kids enjoyed throwing ninja stars at targets. We finished the evening as Americans eating delicious Indian fare in Japan. We ate enough naan bread for a small army.
