Giving Thanks

If we are breathing and given another day, I believe there is always something we can be thankful for. Thankfulness has been the best medicine for my soul when all I can see are  things not as they should be. Give thanks at ALL times, God's Word says. It is hard to focus on our worries, our hurts, our criticism when we are giving thanks for what is right, what is good and what we can praise God for. Isn't it so much more pleasant to be around a grateful person than a critical complainer? Who do you want to be known as? You choose. No matter what your circumstances, you can choose words that are life-giving or words that tear others down. You can choose an attitude of joy with Christ leading you. I pray you would make the wise choice because we are blessed people, y'all!

Party of five enjoying and early Thanksgiving at Nonnie and Grandad's.

Look at all those cousins together - 11 in all!

Celebrating Nana's 92nd birthday. She's amazing! These are her great-grandchildren.

Almost all of the Burrell clan together.

Frazier's Thanksgiving program at The Cherub school. He was a very handsome pilgrim.

Uncle Kam and Miss Hailey playing with the kids at the Lawrence Thanksgiving.

We always enjoy the long dining table of people we get to be with on Thanksgiving Day.
