Life has been busy and overwhelming, especially, if I don't keep my perspective right. We have had some light moments ever the last week or so that have allowed us to just enjoy relationships and take a break from the day-to-day. Always thankful for friends and family to just relax with and enjoy life together!
A day in Charlottesville with Christian, Ann Elise and Lilly Kate. We didn't capture any pictures of us at the pool since we could barely keep up with the 4 of them!
We enjoyed a weekend in Alexandria despite losing power on Friday night - nothing like the absence of electricity to get you out on the porch with the neighbors for conversation. It was really nice! The next morning we participated (e.g. we didn't run) in the Zach 5K to celebrate a friend of Keesha and Brian's that they lost 2 years ago on the 4th of July.
Frazier enjoyed the stroller ride through Arlington and across the Key Bridge.
A view from the Key Bridge.
Mary-Michael walked 3/4 of the way with Aunt Keesha whom she wouldn't leave for a moment.
Mary-Michael enjoyed her first trip to the movie theater to watch Monsters University on Monday with her buddy, Addison.
These were 2 happy girls (how can you not be with unlimited popcorn and treats)!
