This past weekend we hosted a bonfire for some family and local friends. With about 15 kids and 25 adults, we had a full house and a lot of fun. Geoff smoked pork barbecue and served his homemade brew, which was well-received, and lots of folks brought food to share. We had some constumes, a candy hunt and cupcake decorating for the little ones. I failed to remember how early the sun went down so the candy hunt was done in the dark with car headlights. I learned my lesson for next year - do it before dinner and let the parents regulate whether or not the kids get to eat it then or later - I was trying to be nice and do it AFTER dinner. Plus I am still finding candy - I scored a Starburst today!
Check out some fun pictures and our very own Dallas Cowboys cheerleader!

Don't worry - I think Momma mentioned she was taking me to an etiquette class next week.
A work of art!
