Fall 2021

I have not done so well keeping up with the blog this season, so here's a summary in pictures of our fall. We have much to be thankful for! More posts forthcoming...

Spirit week at Aylett for beach day led to these beach bums looking stylish.

Only in a rural farming community will you find Camo Day in the line-up for Spirit Week.

Our church reopened in late September after a 5-week sanctuary renovation, and someone captured this sweet picture.

On Serve Day, our family was assigned to serve at a local mission farm. Logan (here in this picture) has been Frazier's small group leader at church since he was in Kindergarten. He and Frazier have such a sweet relationship, and I'm so thankful Logan has chosen to move up to the next grade each year.

For Halloween, a group of 5 families trekked up to Northern VA. Geoff's parents let us use their place for dinner and kickball fun before the Maverick City concert. Grandma served as the all-time pitcher.

Maverick City gave us an incredible concert and worship experience.

Here's Lecrae - the kids favorite Christian rapper who brought a lot of fun!

Representing RVA Hope Center - a favorite local ministry led by some special friends.

For the first time I shared at the school board regarding the transgender model policies the VDOE was recommending every school district adopt. It was true democracy in action, and it made me very thankful that we live in a nation where all sides can speak up.

Meet Amos - our new half Heeler, Half Shepherd puppy.

We were so proud to celebrate my dad's decision to be water baptized in November. This is his classic pose, which we do often for pictures with him.

Woohoo!

My wrestling boys. Frazier does such a great job being a big brother to Benaiah.

We loved having Zach, Christina and Emerson visit for Thanksgiving. These 2 cousins love each other so much.

More cousin time with a gathering at Nonnie's. If Mary-Michael is around, there is likely nail painting and hair fixing occurring.

So happy to have these cousins home from Japan and relocated in Virginia.

Mary-Michael enjoyed a surprise visit from her best bud, Addison, who came to watch her first basketball she was cheering for.

She's a part of a great group of girls coached by 2 ladies focused on these girls being encouraging and respectable. She's having so much fun.

This ol' girl has struggled with the new puppy, and has not appreciated all of the nips and wrestling. Thankfully, Benaiah is giving her some love.
